Change is a-coming!

After months of silence, the Urban Patchwork blog finally trumpets happily some spring fresh tidings!

Greetings!  Allow me to introduce myself: I am Keith, a brand new staff farmer now working with Paige here at Urban Patchwork.

Much change is afoot as Paige and I scramble to prepare all the new plots, plant all the new plants, plan all the new plans and get everything rolling for the coming spring season.  We’re both very excited for what is coming and very much look forward to bringing to you the bounty of all our efforts!

In the meantime, please keep an eye out for a new website layout.  We’re revising and revamping this site to better suit the farm and better communicate all that is going on with us here at UP.  Thanks for your patience and enjoy the beautiful spring!

Welcome aboard! I’m anxious to see what you and Paige do with UP! Looking forward to the farm stands too. I’ve even started gardening too. You guys are my inspiration. hugs, kat

While in Austin on March 24, Paige was kind enough to let me stop by the ferro-cement water storage workshop for a quick visit. She also gave me a tour of her very impressive urban garden, and an overview of the CSA. Seeing a true urban garden, and the outreach involved gives me hope for our future. If you’re ever in OKC, stop by. Thanks Paige and I will be back! Ron
